Established since 1981, Taiko Drum Industries has developed a team of factory staff and workers with over 20 years' experience in the development of top class UN approved drums at our plants in Tangga Batu, Malacca and Jakarta, Indonesia. Today, Taiko Drum Industries remains the sole licensee of Mauser technology in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.

Taiko Drum Industries also forms part of the Taiko Group, one of the largest and most successful privately held business conglomerates in Malaysia.

The Group was founded by the late Tan Sri Dato' Seri Lee Loy Seng, thus sharing a common heritage with the KLSE-listed Batu Kawan Berhad and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad Groups. The late Founder was a man renowned for his dedication to fundamental business ethics such as hard work, honesty and entrepreneurship. His legacy lives on today through his 3 sons and a family of 25,000 employees worldwide.
